Experience Culture Days 2025 in Port Perry

Culture Days returns to Port Perry this September with a weekend-long celebration of creativity, community, and cultural connection. Part of the national Culture Days initiative, this free event invites residents and visitors alike to explore the arts through hands-on, interactive experiences.

📍 The heart of the festival takes place in Palmer Park and the Latcham Centre on Saturday, September 20, from 10 AM to 5 PM. Visitors can enjoy an outdoor gathering filled with artist booths, creative workshops, live performances, and demonstrations. From collaborative art-making and storytelling circles to martial arts, music, and dance, the park will be alive with creativity for all ages.

On Sunday, September 21, from 10 AM to 4 PM, Scugog Arts Space hosts a more intimate continuation of Culture Days. This slower-paced day includes artist talks, gallery encounters, and hands-on workshops, offering meaningful opportunities for reflection, inspiration, and connection.

Beyond Palmer Park, the celebration extends to four additional hubs across the community:

  • Scugog Arts Space – gallery exhibitions and creative encounters

  • Scugog Memorial Library – literary programming and storytelling

  • Applewood Winery – outdoor installations and rural arts experiences

  • Lavender-Blu Farm – nature-inspired workshops

Culture Days is an inclusive event that shines a spotlight on the talents of local creators while fostering community connection and celebrating the diversity of Scugog’s cultural scene.

✨ Whether you’re making art, enjoying a live performance, or exploring unique workshops, Culture Days offers something for everyone. Join in and celebrate the creative spirit of Port Perry!
